Hey! I'm new here, but would love some anime recommendations right now. Please reply if you've got any suggestions. Especially if they're shojo, but shonen's good too.

If you ask me MewManga88/Zakuro, I'd reccommend Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo (best gag manga-inspired anime around), and Bomberman Jetters (my home anime). If you want more top-notch anime, you should ask Kohaku/Hime-chan regarding this. Since she's absent for this, I'd thought that it'd be fine to link you to her Anime List, if she doesn't mind. You'll find some awesome picks in her list. Shion (AKA: SapphireWarrior) is another person you should ask for great anime picks, here is her Anime List if you're interested.

I'd classify "Higurashi: When They Cry" as horror. To be honest (no offense), I'm not at ALL a fan of Ikki Tousen.

Now then, one more thing... are these all in Japanese or English? *has watched Furuba & FMA in both*

Now then, one more thing... are these all in Japanese or English? *has watched Furuba & FMA in both* For me when it comes to subs and dubs... it's Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo dubbed, but practically everything else subbed. Some of the more elusive anime that me and Hime watch only come in subtitles. I'm more into listening to the characters' original voices in the subbed versions of all the anime I watch, rather than the dubs (no offense).

I'd have to suggest Sgt. Frog. It's got fun characters, snappy jokes, and an overall fun feel (the FUNimation dub, at least; I haven't seen the original).
